I find I rarely need a wheelchair these days. Rather than let it sit idle, I would love someone deserving to have it. It changed my life, and I would love it to do the same for someone else. Tech spec: Goes up to 8mph / 12/5 km phUp to 20 stone user weight / 130kgUp to 25 miles battery range to a single charge.(Comes with a charger)4 wheel drive - but has some spare'single drive' wheels you can swap into if you want to extend battery life, or go into smaller places such as shops or malls. Save the big wheels for the big stuff! All terrain - literally goes on sand, mud, rough ground obviously taking care for steep gradients, and usual common sense rules apply of course! But you no longer feel constrained by getting your chair stuck or ruining it on rough ground. Full bucket sport comfort seating with cross body safety harness. I have a feeling it is leather - certainly not sweaty. Tilt and space electric adjustable seating up, down, forward, backward, recliner seat for true riding comfort and to ensure you can stay stable up and down hills (ie adjust your chair position and gravity to improve stability) 2x 12v 80ah batteries fitted for large mileage and power range - recently checked by an aeronautical engineer and deemed to be in'really good condition' and'excellent at holding their charge' - which I can vouch for. Goes for miles and miles and miles.
Great tread on big off road tyres - the sort of monster truck tyres that small kids gawp at! You have the usual scratches/ scuffs and some light rust spotting on the frame, as you'd expect for the age of this machine, but nothing major. I prefer it without a foot plate, which I have removed, so you may want to get one fitted - it's purely a matter of choice and fit. I have twice had a slight problem with one bolt working loose when I really punished it on bumpy terrain. Nothing I couldn't tighten up in a jiffy with an allen key, which I carry anyway.I kept meaning to get a new bolt, but never did, it wasn't a major problem. But I would suggest that might be a priority if you are using it alone, or not wanting to do a quick bolt tighten on the hoof. These are minor faults but if you have a disability, they can feel major if you're not forewarned. This is a second hand piece of kit - but it really is a one off piece of equipment. It's been an absolute monster find for off-road, field, beach, woods - I cannot tell you how much joy it has given me.
